Iron Maiden's EddFest 2026: A 50th Anniversary Extravaganza at Knebworth (2026)

Iron Maiden Unveils Knebworth 2026: A 'Once-in-a-Lifetime' Festival Experience

Iron Maiden has unveiled the full details of their upcoming Knebworth headline show this summer, promising a 'once-in-a-lifetime' festival experience. The event, dubbed 'EddFest', will take place on July 10th and 11th, 2026, at Knebworth Park, UK, and will feature support from The Darkness, The Hu, Airbourne, and The Almighty.

This festival is an extension of Iron Maiden's two-year, 50th anniversary 'Run For Your Lives' tour, which included a major show at Knebworth on July 11th, 2026. The 'weekend event' will offer a unique experience, with the biggest Eddie's Dive Bar ever, Maiden-themed food, and specialized stalls. Fans with camping tickets can start their journey on Friday, July 10th.

The festival promises a 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity' to immerse themselves in Iron Maiden's idea of a fun-filled 48 hours of entertainment. It will feature the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience, a walk-through display of stage props and relics inspired by their 2025 career-spanning book, 'Infinite Dreams'.

Maidenville, a dedicated section of the festival, will host 'the greatest Eddie's Dive Bar yet', complete with a second stage for music, the Unfair Funfair with rides and 'Eddie-themed' games, and Eddie's Empourium. The Maidenville stage will also showcase a specially curated lineup of acts with connections to the band, including full sets from Stray, Maiden United, Airforce, Tony Moore's Awake, and Hair Metal Glamageddon.

Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood revealed that Knebworth Park was chosen for the gig to create 'something groundbreaking for our fans'. He added, 'We are excited to reveal the details of this one-off event, celebrating the band's 50-year career, now called EDDFEST, because Eddie is the true star of the show!'

Smallwood highlighted the festival's offerings: 'Great music, great beer, exciting and varied fun things to do, great souvenirs and merch, unique photo opportunities, and the camaraderie of being a Maiden fan.'

Iron Maiden's 50th anniversary celebrations also include a new signature Fender guitar collection and a collaboration with West Ham United for a football shirt. The band has also urged fans to limit the use of their phone cameras during shows, respecting fellow fans and the band.

The festival marks a significant milestone for the band, offering a unique and immersive experience for fans, and it's a testament to Iron Maiden's enduring legacy and commitment to delivering unforgettable live experiences.
