Scotchie’s tattoo page

Well I will be 56 on Feb. 2, 2012. My wife and I have a multitude of grandchildren and we are blessed beyond measure. This studio has been a magical journey that I would not trade for anything. I look forward with both eyes wide open to see the future of our studio. I invite you to come in and meet the staff at Dos Changos Locos Tattoo. This is our ten year anniversary! A decade in business. That is fantastic, but still just a start. I look forward to meeting you!

My wife and I opened Dos Changos Locos Tattoos at the beginning of 2008.  We felt it was time to have a studio of our own.  I had been working at other studios and was buying up the equipment for a studio from those studios that went out of business and so we scraped up enough cash to open our own.  It has been a bumpy ride, but we have had some very good people help us from time to time.  We have been blessed to have Jen Culotta and Troy Martin work here for the last seven years! And now we have Andy Carrillo for the last two years. We have gotten lots of good advice from friends that own studios and they helped us figure the business side out.  Man what I would give to just tattoo and not have to manage stuff.  My wife Pattie does most of the management and business end, and I do the tattooing.

We have four kids and thirteen grand-children.  My oldest son Scottie is a tattoo artist (Notty Scotty) and he has turned out to be a very solid artist in his own right.  My grand-kids love to come and visit at their Papa Bear’s studio. We are very blessed by all that we have accomplished and the thanks goes to all of our clients, and friends and familes for all the support!

Tattoo Studio

Come in and meet us here at the studio.  What you will find is a staff that is into art and the tattoo industry.  We are a National Tattoo Association studio and we are not some “johnny come lately” we have been in the industry for a while.  We are also a Modesto Chamber of Commerce business.  Scott and Pattie and the artists at the studio are all sitting on the Stanislaus County Body Art Advisory committee.

Come see and you will find out why people come back to us over and again.
